Gomoku Pro: Exactly Five is the tournament flavour of five-in-a-row for players who want a sharper game. The goal is still to line up your stones, but only a line of exactly five counts: an overline of six or more is not a win. That single rule changes everything. Attacking shapes that look deadly can fizzle into harmless overlines, defensive stones gain new purpose, and you have to count every space before you commit to a threat. The board is a polished dark ebony slab with gold engraved lines and coordinates, resting on deep red velvet, with glossy slate and shell stones that click down with real weight. The computer opponent starts on Hard and searches several moves ahead for fours, forks and forced wins under the exact-five rule, so careless play is punished quickly. There are no hints and no threat warnings here; you get three takebacks per game and nothing else. Prefer a gentler opponent? Drop to Medium or Easy at any time, or choose to move second as White to test your defence. Every result is saved in your personal record for each difficulty.
How to play
Tap or click an empty intersection to place a stone (tap twice on phones). Win with a line of exactly five; six or more in a row does not count. Undo (U) takes back a move, up to three times per game. New game (N) changes difficulty or lets you play second.
