About Tidal Hoops Beach
Tidal Hoops Beach sets up a bright blue court on the sand of a sunny bay, with palm trees swaying, sailboats bobbing on the waves and beachgoers crowding the sidelines in their swimsuits. There is one twist: the hoop will not stand still. It rolls along a rail on its wheeled stand, sliding from side to side, so every shot is about timing as much as touch. Swipe up to throw, and release when the rim is about to glide into the path of the ball. The more you score, the faster it moves, and after five baskets it starts bobbing up and down; after ten it swings through a looping figure that will test even the best shooters. You have three balls in your bag, and every miss costs one, so take your time and pick your moment. Clean swishes build the fire meter and three in a row turn the ball into a blazing comet that scores double. Each basket sends you to a new spot on the court, and long shots from beyond the arc are worth three. The first shots show the predicted arc, including where the moving hoop will be, so you can learn the rhythm before it gets wild.
How to play
Swipe up and release to shoot. The hoop slides on a rail: release when the rim will meet the ball. Three misses and the game is over. Keyboard: hold Space to charge, ←/→ to aim, release to throw.
