About Vine Snap Monkey
Vine Snap Monkey takes swinging into a deep green jungle where nothing lasts. You are a cheeky brown monkey with a curly tail, and your rope is a living vine that you throw at wooden knots hanging in the canopy. Here is the catch: each knot holds you only once, then it turns grey and you cannot grab it again, and any vine you hang on for too long snaps with a crack, after a few generous seconds on the early stages and just two seconds later on. A red ring around the knot shows the time running out. That turns every level into a little route puzzle. You cannot swing back and forth to build speed or wait for a better moment; you have to commit, read the path ahead and keep moving forward. Early stages teach the rules with plenty of spare knots. Later ones remove the safety net, add mossy stone blocks to bounce off, bounce pads made of springy mushrooms and thorn strips along the jungle floor, so a single wasted grab can leave you with nowhere to go. There are twenty-four handcrafted levels, light shafts streaming through the leaves and a confetti burst at every finish gate. Plan your swings, trust your timing and see if you can earn all three stars on each vine-snapping run.
How to play
Hold to grab a knot, release to fly. Each knot works only once and vines snap if you hang on too long, so keep moving forward to the finish gate.
