About Push-Up Pyramid Climb

Push-Up Pyramid Climb is a push-up ladder in the golden desert, and every push-up lifts a stone block onto a pyramid of your own. The ladder goes one push-up, then a rest, then two, then three, all the way up to five, and back down again to one: twenty-five push-ups in nine short sets. Between sets a rest ring counts down so you can breathe and shake out your arms before the next set starts. The blocks drop into place with a satisfying thud, row by row, and when you finish the very last set a golden capstone crowns your pyramid. The first athlete to complete the whole ladder wins, and the others are ranked by how far they climbed. The pace is up to you: there is no beat to follow, so slow, full push-ups are always fine, and the game simply waits for clean reps. A coach line under your counter helps with form, asking you to go lower, push all the way up or keep your hips in line. Put the camera on the floor about two metres to your side and the game counts your real push-ups, while the picture stays on your device. Knee push-ups have their own leaderboard. No camera? Hold the space bar or the PUSH button to lower and let go to push up. Climb against easygoing computer athletes, with a friend on one camera, or online.

How to play

Do the set shown on the ladder (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 push-ups), rest while the ring counts down, then start the next set. Camera: device on the floor about 2 m to your side (or in front of your head), whole body in the picture; lower your chest until your elbows bend and push all the way up. Keys or touch: hold SPACE, ↓ or PUSH to go down, let go to push up. First to finish the pyramid wins. Online: Quick Match, Create room or Invite on the game page.
